Cherene, Noah and I went for a walk to enjoy this fine spring day. Now don't get me wrong, I do see the beauty of all the seasons that God has blessed us with and the symbolism that comes with each. I mean after all who else could give us so much color and beauty right before the end of its life expectancy like in the fall? Have you seen the things man creates do anything even close to this? Cars, tires, clothes, houses. Everything we make falls apart, rusts out, falls down etc, at the end of its life. Not so the creations made from our Father in heaven. He saves some of the most spectacular beauty for the end of a leaf's life... kind of cool huh? But any how, this is about spring and another one of His wonderful creations made just for you and me. The promise of spring is that God has told us in Genesis 8:22 "as long as the earth endures, seedtime (spring) and harvest (fall), cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease"..... hmmm, take that global warming!! To me this means God loves us so much and He wants us to know we can rest assured until He ends the earth as we know it, that we will have these changes of the seasons and cold, heat, day and night. So to me, spring and all the beauty like the "crocus" reminds me of this promise made so long ago. We saw some of your beauty today Lord and we remember and say thank you.

The New Life of Spring
Cherene, Noah and I went for a walk to enjoy this fine spring day. Now don't get me wrong, I do see the beauty of all the seasons that God has blessed us with and the symbolism that comes with each. I mean after all who else could give us so much color and beauty right before the end of its life expectancy like in the fall? Have you seen the things man creates do anything even close to this? sometimes good things come with a little pain
Noah is 11 months old and for those of you with child rearing experience know this means teeth cutting time and Noah is waist deep in this stage.
He has cut 2 teeth in 2 days, and 3 teeth over the past week. Needless to say this has made for some less then ideally fun days for him. This right of passage for Noah got me thinking about how teeth cutting is for most children the first real glimpse of how life can be. He must be thinking 'what is up here and why do i have this ouchy in my mouth.. help me mama!!' but along with this pain is a good side that when his teeth are finally finished he will have a beautiful toothed smile and be able to enjoy eating better things -like PIZZA! So The Father starts us quite young with our learning, and for all of us this process never ends, although for some people we believe it has. As for me, my most recent bout with pain leading to good things came just last week. I had a bout with the flu and had a couple of tough days, but through it all there were good things. Seeing the love of Cherene taking care of me, running for cool wash rags and trips to town for Gatorade and many other things. Another good thing was the love of our Father giving me healing another time in my life from a sickness that many years ago and still to this day claims the life of many. Still another good thing, I was able to return to work this week and be welcomed back by coworkers that told me they missed me. I for one hope I never get to hard to not see the good in all things and I pray the same for you my son and give this little bit of wisdom..hang in there Noah this to shall pass.
well here we go!
I thought i would try this out, and just let the world know what this human can manage to get him self into. like things i enjoy doing, scooter riding, photography, keeping our (or helping my wonderful bride Cherene) 11 month old Noah out of harms way. and many other things soo this is the first of possibly many boring post's. read if you wish but there is no promise that it will be entertaining or grammatically correct, no seriously grammar and punctuation are not my strong points... but here we go!
